my Mission

My name is Anders Jonsson, and soccer has been a central part of my life since growing up in Ystad, Sweden. On the field, I was recognized as a dedicated and respected player, having represented several clubs at the professional and semi-professional level in Sweden’s 3rd and 5th divisions. In every team I played for, I was entrusted with the role of captain — a responsibility that shaped my leadership both on and off the pitch.

My coaching journey began in my hometown, where I served as assistant coach and goalkeeper trainer for Ystads IF’s youth team. I also completed the Swedish Football Association’s manager course with a focus on youth development, strengthening my passion for helping the next generation of players thrive.

Beyond soccer, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences with a concentration in pedagogy for children and youth. For over a decade, I worked as a teacher, combining my love of education with my commitment to mentorship. This background allows me to approach coaching not only from a tactical and technical perspective, but also with a deep understanding of how children and teenagers learn, grow, and stay motivated.

My philosophy is simple: every player has a unique style and natural strengths. My role as a coach is not to take that individuality away, but to enhance it. Whether it’s a distinctive dribble, a powerful shot, or smart movement off the ball, I help players refine their abilities and build confidence in their own game.

The greats — Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Lionel Messi, Manuel Neuer, Neymar — all transformed soccer by embracing their individuality. I believe young players can do the same. Under my coaching, children and youth are encouraged to expand their repertoire, experiment with new skills, and most importantly, enjoy the process in a fun and supportive environment.

Soccer is more than a sport — it’s a way to grow, to create, and to inspire. My goal is to help every player I coach not only improve their game, but also discover the joy and freedom that come with playing the beautiful game their own way.
